Support Roland Ordovas 2026 Boston Marathon Run on behalf of the Wellesley Council on Aging

We urge the support for Roland Ordovas and his running of the 2026 BAA Boston Marathon on April 20th to raise funds for Wellesley seniors and the Council on Aging.   Roland, his wife and their two daughters live in Wellesley and are all looking forward to his run in the 130th Boston Marathon.

The Be A Friend Fund is established within the FWCOA to support the mission and strategic plans of the COA such as the lunch program.

The New Era Fund

The New Era Fund, in partnership with the Foundation for MetroWest is designated to the Friends of the Wellesley Council on Aging for capital expenditures not covered by the annual town budget.  Examples for funding include facility enhancements, and support for new programs and services provided to Wellesley residents age 60+ to promote learning, social engagement, physical and mental fitness, and opportunities for intergenerational interactions.
