Welcome

The mission of the Friends of Wellesley Council On Aging (FWCOA) is to enrich the lives of Wellesley citizens age 60 and older by providing financial support for enhanced facilities, programs, activities, and other needs for the Wellesley Council On Aging.

We urge the support for Roland Ordovas and his running of the 2026 BAA Boston Marathon on April 20th to raise funds for Wellesley seniors and the Council on Aging.   Roland, his wife and their two daughters live in Wellesley and are all looking forward to his run in the 130th Boston Marathon.

Encouraging Vibrant Aging

Wellesley residents age 60 and over comprise 22% of our town's population. Many of them look forward to new chapters in their lives. The FWCOA actively seeks donations and funding to assist the Council on Aging in providing programs and services to Wellesley's older adults.

Planned Giving Program

The Friends of the Wellesley Council of Aging and the New Era Fund introduce a new Planned Giving donor program in support of the COA.

Now you can help accomplish your philanthropic goal by making a planned gift to the New Era Fund and leave your legacy right here in Wellesley. Gifts of all sizes are appreciated and make a difference. You will be helping support a vibrant aging experience to enrich the lives of Wellesley residents for generations to come.
